11 simple activities to bring you joy during challenging times
The current situation is reminding me to try and find joy in the simple things. So I made a list of 11 simple activities that may just bring you joy.
Feel free to comment and at to the list.
1. Call and speak to someone you care about, stay connected.
2. Listen to one of your favourite albums.
3. Read a book.
4. Go through your old family photo albums.
5. Watch your favourite binge worthy television show (or your favourite movie).
6. Do a mentally stimulating activity – such as a jigsaw puzzle or crossword.
7. Meditate, leverage a Youtube video or podcast to help you get started.
8. Do a home workout, it doesn’t have to be complicated. Jumping jacks are a simple way to get your whole body moving.
9. Grab some coloured pencils and do some colouring in.
10. Get some fresh air and sunlight, go for a walk (if it’s safe to do so).
11. Order in or cook your favourite meal.
